We consider course revisions using the following triggers:<br>
<ol>
<li>Whenever a textbook in the course goes out of print.</li>
<li>Whenever a professor gets enough complaints about one or more of
the elements in the course.</li>
<li>Whenever the professor believes that a revision is necessary.</li>
<li>All courses are reviewed every two years for revision potential
(course professor, department dean and at least two members of the
academic committee).<br>

</ol>
We have found this method to be practical.<br>

wrestle with is when and how do we make revisions to those courses. It
